In January 2005, Kris packed up her belongings and moved from Ohio to Colorado because of a yearning and longing that would not go away. Upon seeing the mountains, something inside shifted and unbeknownst to her at the time, she came home to her music and herself.  Kris returned to her old time friend and companion, a 614ce Taylor guitar. She began writing lyrics and music that spoke of her inner belief that "we are Spiritual beings having a human experience." This writing phase lead to the self-produced album Just Breathe. On this album, Kris wrote, played, recorded, mixed and mastered all of the tracks. In addition to this, Kris created two instrumental CDs entitled Chakra Balance and Heart Rhythms.

 In October 2007, Kris performed titles from her first CD Just Breathe at World Angel Day in Phoenix Arizona. She was invited to play by Sunny Dawn Johnston and she wrote two songs for the event;  Help Me and You're My Angel.  She got to see firsthand how her music affected the audience and her live playing career began. The song Just Breathe was also awarded the "Honor Award" in the Acoustic Folk category from the Great American Song contest.

 In 2008, Kris returned to the studio and self-produced her second album entitled Dream the Dreams of Life along with the music for all of Sunny Dawn Johnston's meditation CDs. In 2009, Kris self-produced her third album In The Colorado Mountains and has been sharing her music at many Unity churches throughout the United States in addition to Celebrate Your Life Phoenix and Chicago... alongside Sunny Dawn Johnston.

In 2010, Kris and her partner moved to Glendale, Arizona to continue working with Sunny Dawn Johnston at the Sunlight Healing Center. Kris continued to write and produced the following albums: The Wind of Change, The Heart of Love and Healing Your Heart.

Currently facilitating workshops, healing retreats, and a living room book tour with Sunny Dawn Johnston, Kris uses her inspirational lyrics and melodies to guide you to a place within that allows you to see the truth of who you are. Kris is looking forward to taking her music on the road and creating a space where listeners are invited to dream their dreams. Her inspirational lyrics and melodies are the voice of her heart and when you listen to her sing, your chakras open wide and her voice carries you to a place where anything is possible.
